Dec 8, 2022 (BSS)-Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) recovered 730 grams of Indian heroin from Sadar upazila of the district yesterday evening.
The arrested was Md Jewel,30, son of Abdur Razzaq of Jelepara under Alatuli union under Sadar upazila in the district.
BGB said, acting on a tip off, a patrol team of BGB from Poladanga border out post conducted a raid in the house of Md Jewel at around 7 pm and seized the heroin.
BGB filed a case with Chapainawabganj Sadar Model Police Station, the sources added.
