Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) in separate drives recovered 5,050 pieces of yaba tablet, 35 bottles of foreign liquor and 71 bottles of phensidyl from different frontier areas of Shibganj upazila in the district last night and early today.
On a tip-off, a patrol team of BGB from Sonamasjid border outpost conducted a raid at Tohakhana area at around 10 pm last night and recovered 5,050 pieces of yaba tablet.
Besides, BGB team recovered 35 bottles of foreign liquor and 71 bottles of phensidyl from different frontier areas of the upazila early this morning, BGB sources said.
