The Saudi Arabian government is going to introduce biometric Visa system from this year for the Hajj pilgrims of Bangladesh.
According to a notification issued here today, under the new system, pilgrims from Bangladesh must submit visa applications through biometric method in order to perform Hajj this year.
The required preparations are being made in order to process visa applications using biometric technology, the notification added. Pilgrims are requested to keep their passports with them instead of submitting to the Ashkona Hajj Office.
Those who have already submitted their passports are urged to return them back. All concerned will be notified when visa process starts, the notification also added.
