Awami League (AL) Presidium Member Jahangir Kabir Nanak today said the BNP will disappear from politics due to their terrorist activities.

“Political parties, which boycotted election after the independence of the country, have disappeared from politics,” he told a view-exchange meeting with leaders of Nari Uddokta and other women leaders at Susana community centre in the city’s Mohammadpur.

“Conspiracy from home and abroad has started centering the upcoming general election . . . BNP and their followers are carrying out sneak attacks in different areas across the country,” he said.

“The BNP won’t be able to foil the election by carrying out subversive activities,” he said, urging all to cast their vote in favor of AL’s electoral symbol ‘boat’ to continue the country’s development spree.

President of Nari Uddokta Shahin Akhter Sathi presided over the meeting while Awami League central leader Shahabuddin Faraji, ward councilors – Salimullah Solu and Roksana Alam, among others, were present at the meeting.
