Chief Adviser Prof Muhammad Yunus has left Dhaka for New York by a flight of Qatar Airlines from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport to participate in the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA).
Local news portals said the chief adviser started journey at 5.05 am on Monday.
Muhammad Yunus is scheduled to hold a meeting with US President Joseph Biden on Tuesday in New York on the sidelines of the UNGA.
