Bangladesh Bank (BB), the country’s central bank, has decided to continue with its persisting contractionary monetary policy with no further changes in the coming days to contain inflation.
The decision was taken after Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) meeting held on Tuesday evening at the BB headquarters.
As per the decision, the policy rate and crawling peg band will remain unchanged in the coming days, according to meeting insiders.
