Online activist Pinaki Bhattacharya has been admitted to a hospital in Paris, France due to illness. The news was shared in a post on his Facebook page on Thursday (14 August).
According to the post, Pinaki had been feeling unwell for several days. As his condition slightly worsened on Thursday, he was taken to the hospital.
Doctors initially suspect that he may have previously contracted COVID-19 and is now experiencing complications from that infection.
The post further stated that he is currently under intensive observation and undergoing various medical tests. It also requested prayers from everyone for his recovery.
Pinaki Bhattacharya has long been active on social media, engaging in political and social issues.
