The Anti-Corruption Commission will take action to stop the use of black money in the upcoming parliamentary election, ACC Chairman Mohammad Abdul Momen has said.
“The commission will also investigate if candidates provide false information in their affidavits,” he told the media on Monday.
Responding to a question, the chairman said the commission would focus on stopping the supply chains of black money in the upcoming polls.
In this regard, he said, the ACC, Bangladesh Financial Intelligence Unit (BFIU), and other relevant agencies would work together.
