Former senior joint convener of Dhaka Metropolitan South BNP and chief coordinator of Dhaka-5 constituency Nabiullah Nabi has said that no conspiracy can stop the BNP’s progress.

“In its glorious journey of 47 years, the BNP has always been fighting to establish democracy and nationalism. The party is still determined to take the country forward on the path of stable and prosperous democracy,” he said while addressing a brief rally in Jatrabari on Wednesday.

Nabiullah Nabi inaugurated a week-long canal, pond, road cleaning, and tree plantation event as part of a public-friendly programme organised by Jatrabari unit BNP under the direction of the party acting chairman, Tarique Rahman, on the occasion of the BNP’s 47th founding anniversary.

He said, “The BNP is a symbol of the trust of the people. On the instructions of patriot Tarique Rahman, we have organised a people-friendly programme instead of a rally on the party’s founding anniversary.

“Our politics is for the welfare of the people. We believe in a Bangladesh of brotherhood, not revenge, and keeping that view in mind, the BNP is working to implement the 31 points.”
