Bangladesh Army organised a medical camp on Friday at Phulbagan Government Primary School ground in Natore Sadar upazila to provide free medical services and distribute medicines among diarrhoea-affected people, said an ISPR press release.
During the camp, 40,000 water purification tablets and 4,100 packets of oral saline were distributed free of cost among residents of the affected and vulnerable areas. Besides, experienced doctors treated patients and offered advice on diarrhoea prevention and awareness.
Recently, an outbreak of waterborne diarrhoeal disease occurred in Natore Sadar upazila, affecting around 150 people. To address the situation, the army launched the medical campaign.
