The weather office has forecast heavy to very heavy rains in some parts of six divisions of the country, including Dhaka, for three days starting Sunday morning.
The rains are expected to cause landslides in Chattogram district as well as waterlogging in some areas in Dhaka city and Chattogram city amid monsoon effects, Meteorologist AKM Nazmul Haque has said.
The temperature is expected to fall by 1-2 degree Celsius.
In the 72 hours between 9am Sunday and 9am Wednesday, mild to moderation rains with thunderstrikes and gusty winds are expected across most parts of the divisions of Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh, Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet.
