The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) Election Commission has released the final voter list for the upcoming Executive Committee elections.
A total of 191 councillors are eligible to vote, with polling scheduled for October 6.

Fifteen Dhaka-based clubs, previously excluded from the preliminary list, have now regained their councillor positions. Notably, Iftikhar Rahman Mithu will represent Vikings Academy. Earlier exclusions were linked to irregularities under investigation by the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC).

The three-member Election Commission, led by Chief Election Commissioner Mohammad Hossain, finalized the list following a virtual meeting on Thursday.

Clubs newly included: Exium Cricketers, Dhaka Cricket Academy, Mohammad Cricket Club, Nawabganj Cricket Coaching Academy, Purbachal Sporting Club, Gulshan Cricket Club, Old Dhaka Cricketers, Vikings Cricket Academy, Banani Cricket Club, Nakhalpara Cricketers, Mohakhali Cricket Academy, Dhanmondi Cricket Club, Pacific Cricket Club, Safaer Sporting Club, and Alpha Sporting Club.

Additionally, councillor positions in Sylhet, Bogura, Pabna, Sirajganj, and Naogaon districts have been approved. Narsingdi remains unrepresented, as in the preliminary draft released on September 23.

The BCB Executive Committee elections are held in three categories: District & Division, where 10 directors are elected by 71 councillors from the divisions (Dhaka, Chattogram, and Khulna elect two each, Barishal, Sylhet, Rajshahi, and Rangpur elect one each); Club, where 12 directors are elected by 76 club councillors; and University & Organization, where one director is elected by 45 councillors representing universities and institutions.

After the Executive Committee is elected, the 25 directors will vote to elect the BCB President.
