Nepalese Ambassador to Bangladesh Ghanashyam Bhandari inaugurated the Inter-College Futsal Tournament organised by the Nepalese Medical Students’ Association, Bangladesh, at a ceremony held in Dhaka on Friday morning.
In his inaugural remarks, Ambassador Bhandari underscored the importance of sports in building teamwork, strengthening friendships, and fostering mutual cooperation among students, said a press release.
The tournament features the participation of eight teams representing different medical colleges across Bangladesh. Organisers expressed hope that the event will not only provide students with a platform to showcase their athletic skills but also deepen bonds among the medical student community.
