A wave of support for BNP in Benapole as Liton campaigns for ” Dhaner Shish”  A groundswell of support was witnessed in Benapole on Friday afternoon during a mass campaign in favor of the BNP’s electoral symbol, the Dhaner Shish , in the Jashore-1 constituency.

Local BNP leaders and activists went door to door, seeking votes for the party’s symbol, and later held a rally following the campaign in the Benapole port area.

Addressing the rally, Sharsha upazila BNP general secretary and nomination aspirant Alhaj Nuruzzaman Liton said, “Alongside BNP leaders and activists, a large number of ordinary people are joining our campaign. If we want to see Tarique Rahman as the future head of state, every member must work unitedly at the grassroots level and stand beside the people.”

Among others, Sharsha upazila BNP senior joint general secretary Advocate Mostafa Kamal Mintu, upazila BNP vice president Abdul Majid, Benapole municipality BNP general secretary Abu Taher Bharat, joint general secretary Mofizur Rahman Mofiz, vice president Atikuzzaman Soni, Benapole union BNP president Almgir Siddiqui, general secretary Abul Kashem, organizing secretary Aktar Hossain, Sharsha upazila Chhatra Dal president Shariful Islam Chayan, senior joint general secretary Mahayeminul Sagor, Benapole municipality Chhatra Dal president Arifur Rahman Arif, and many leaders and activists of different front and associate bodies of BNP were present at the meeting.
