Alhaj Nuruzzaman Liton, general secretary of Sharsha upazila BNP and a nomination aspirant for the BNP’s Dhaner Shish symbol from Jashore-1 constituency, attended the final match of a football tournament as the chief guest in Sadipur village under Benapole municipality’s Ward No. 1.
Following the match, the guests handed over prizes to the winners and encouraged the participating players.
Among others present were Benapole municipality BNP general secretary Abu Taher Bharat, Sharsha upazila BNP senior joint general secretary Mostafa Kamal Mintu, municipality BNP organising secretary Akhtaruzzaman, vice presidents Atikuzzaman Soni and Abdul Majid, and joint general secretary Mofizur Rahman Mofiz.
Also in attendance were Benapole union BNP president Almagir Siddique, general secretary Abul Kashem, organising secretary Azizur Rahman Khokon; ward BNP president Abdul Malek and general secretary Abdus Sattar; Benapole municipality Swechchhasebak Dal member secretary Omar Faruk; Chhatra Dal convener Chayan and senior joint convener Mohaiminul Sagor; and Benapole municipality Chhatra Dal convener Arifur Rahman Arif. The tournament created a festive atmosphere throughout the village.
