Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA), in partnership with Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), has officially launched BanglaBiz; a comprehensive digital platform designed to simplify and accelerate the investment process in Bangladesh.

This new initiative brings together multiple services and information sources into a single, streamlined interface, significantly enhancing the ease of doing business.

“How to Apply” Tool: An interactive feature that guides users to the most suitable IPA based on business type, sector, and investor preferences.

Management Dashboard: A secure analytics interface enabling government officials to track service delivery, monitor investment trends, and manage IPA performance.
“Digital transformation is not merely about adopting technology; it is about building inclusive and responsive systems,” said Tomohide Ichiguchi, Chief Representative of JICA Bangladesh Office.

“BanglaBiz reflects our commitment to co-developing solutions that empower investors and strengthen institutional frameworks,” he added.
Ashik Chowdhury, Executive Chairman of BIDA, added, “The demand for a unified investor portal has been consistent from both domestic and international businesses. With BanglaBiz, we’ve responded by creating a single digital entry point; designed with the user in mind. We also expect this platform to drive healthy competition among agencies to improve service quality.”

While the current version focuses on essential features, BanglaBiz is set to evolve into a full-fledged Investor Single Window Platform (ISWP) in future phases. Upcoming enhancements include:
Business Starter Package: a comprehensive service suite for new investors.BanglaBiz ID (BBID): a unique digital identity to facilitate seamless transactions.
