A discussion meeting was held at the Daspara Puja Mandap in Sharsha upazila, On the occasion of the largest religious festival of the Hindu community, Sharadiya Durga Puja, organized by the upazila unit of the BNP on Tuesday .

The event was attended by Sharsha upazila BNP president Abul Hasan Zohir, general secretary Alhaj Nuruzzaman Liton, former office secretary Mofikul Hasan Tripti, chief adviser Khairuzzaman Madhu, senior joint general secretary Advocate Mostafa Kamal Mintu, organizing secretaries Ashraful Alam Babu and Salauddin, joint secretary Tajuddin, along with other BNP leaders.

Speakers at the meeting said Durga Puja is no longer just a festival of the Hindu community, but has now become a universal celebration. They added that the people of Sharsha have always been bound by communal harmony. The BNP will continue to play an active role in ensuring the security of all communities and in celebrating festivals peacefully in the future.
