The National Pay Commission has formally started its work to develop recommendations for a fair, transparent, and effective pay scale for government employees.

In a statement issued Monday, Md Farhad Siddique, Member Secretary of the Commission, said four online questionnaires have been prepared to gather feedback from a wide range of stakeholders.

The questionnaires are designed for specific groups — employees, the general public, institutions, and associations — and are available on the Commission’s official website: paycommission2025.gov.bd.

Interested individuals, institutions, and associations have been asked to submit their responses online by October 15, 2025.

The Commission also invited associations to express interest in direct meetings by completing the relevant questionnaire and providing necessary details.

The formation of the National Pay Commission is part of the government’s initiative to ensure a more balanced and effective salary structure for public servants.
