Bangladesh under Tarique Rahman’s leadership will be a country of communal harmony: Nuruzzaman Liton

In observance of Durga Puja, the largest religious festival of the Hindu community, BNP leaders of Sharsha upazila visited several puja mandaps in Goga union of Jashore’s Sharsha upazila and exchanged views with Hindu community leaders.

Present at the meeting were Sharsha upazila BNP president Abul Hasan Zahir, general secretary Alhaj Nuruzzaman Liton, former office secretary  Mofiqul Hasan Tripti, the party’s  adviser Khairuzzaman Madhu, senior joint secretary Advocate Mostafa Kamal Mintu, organising secretary Ashraful Alam Babu, joint secretary Tazuddin and other BNP leaders.

Speaking at the view-exchange meeting after visiting the mandaps, Sharsha upazila BNP general secretary Alhaj Nuruzzaman Liton said, “Religion is everyone’s own affair, but Bangladesh belongs to all.”

He further said that under the directives of the party’s acting chairman Tarique Rahman, the future Bangladesh will be a country of communal harmony. “For the development of the nation, Bangladesh must move forward under the leadership of Tarique Rahman,” he added.
