BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia on Wednesday night visited the grave of her husband and BNP founder Ziaur Rahman at Sher-e-Bangla Nagar in the capital.
She went there around 11PM and offered fateha sitting in the car.
The BNP chief also offered a munajat, seeking eternal peace for the departed soul of the late president Ziaur Rahman. She was accompanied by her two sister-in-laws, the party Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, Standing Committee member Dr AZM Zahid Hossain and some others.
It is known that Khaleda last visited Ziaur Rahman’s grave in 2018.
