BNP Standing Committee member Dr. AZM Zahid Hossain said on Friday has that BNP Chairperson and former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia’s health is now stable.
“Madam’s overall condition is stable and has improved compared to when she was admitted,” Dr. Zahid told journalists after placing a wreath at the grave of BNP Founder Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman in Sher-e-Bangla Nagar, Dhaka.
He further stated that Khaleda Zia will return home after further medical tests and the medical board’s approval.
The 79-year-old BNP leader was admitted to Evercare Hospital on Wednesday night for routine health check-ups. She has been managing multiple health issues, including arthritis, diabetes, and kidney, lung, and eye problems.
