Mishu Biswas made a powerful mark at the 2025 Bank of America Chicago Marathon, finishing the 42.195km race with an impressive time that showcased both his discipline and determination on the world stage.
Competing among 53,000 elite and amateur runners from across the globe, Biswas clocked 3:36:06, setting a new personal best. His previous record was 3:43:00, achieved at the 2021 Bangabandhu Marathon. Uganda’s Jacob Kiplimo won the men’s race in a remarkable 2:02:23, while Ethiopia’s Hawi Feysa Gejia took the women’s title in 2:14:56, with fast times continuing down the field.
Speaking after the race, Biswas expressed his pride and gratitude:
“Running in Chicago was a dream come true. The energy of the city, cheering crowd, and the electrifying atmosphere made it unforgettable. I’m proud of my performance, setting a new personal best after recovering from injury, and I’m more driven than ever to keep pushing my limits,” he said.
