A bail petition has been submitted to the High Court bench for former Chief Justice ABM Khairul Haqu in five separate cases.
The cases are on the list for hearing on Monday at the HC bench headed by Justice ASM Abdul Mobin.
The former Chief Justice was arrested on July 24 from his Dhaka residence in connection with separate cases involving murder, corruption, forgery and irregular judicial rulings.
In one case, Haque was denied bail over the killing of Abdul Kaiyum Ahad during the anti-discrimination student movement in Jatrabari.
