BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir on Sunday said that the enemies of Bangladesh are rearing their heads again.
”As time passes, a malicious attempt is being made to create an anarchic situation in the country. Unfortunately, we are seeing that a process to create anarchy is underway even through the dissemination of false propaganda on social media.”
He described Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman as a rare statesman who initiated massive economic changes and gave momentum to the economy. “The foundation of our garments industry was laid by Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman. He played a leading role in women’s education and empowerment and brought an unprecedented change in the field of education. A revolution in agriculture was ushered in through the import of high-yield varieties and making fertilizer management accessible to farmers.”
