Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Nayeb-e-Ameer Dr. Syed Abdullah Muhammad Taheer has said that a miracle could occur in the country in the upcoming parliamentary election.

He made the remarks while speaking as a special guest at the Central Student Council Elected Representatives Reception 2025, organised by Islami Chhatra Shibir held at the Bangladesh-China Friendship Conference Center on Friday (November 7).

Dr. Taheer said that Chhatra Shibir has consecutively received mandates from general students in four universities, proving that Shibir is not just a single organization but represents the entire student community of the country.

He said, “Young students have supported an idealistic party. In the upcoming election, four million young students should continue this trend and ensure that idealistic parties bring positive change to Bangladesh. Another miracle could happen in the next election. Insha’Allah, we hope that the reflection of victories in university student councils will continue in the future. We firmly believe in this.”

Addressing student council leaders, he said, “The July Revolution was achieved at the cost of students’ blood, and the entire country stood with them. Your struggle has already driven fascism out of India. Your fight is not over yet. Through this struggle, the country’s corruption must be thrown into the sea. In this effort, you, as student council representatives, will play a crucial role.”
