BNP acting chairman Tarique Rahman called an emergency meeting of the party’s Standing Committee on Monday night.
BNP Standing Committee Member Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain confirmed that the meeting will be held tonight at 8:30pm at the BNP Chairperson’s office in Gulshan.
He said that there is no specific agenda for the meeting, describing it as an “open discussion,” and emphasised that Monday’s meeting is certainly important.
Tarique will virtually preside over the meeting from London.
