The International Crimes Tribunal (ICT) has ruled that former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, and her two aides are guilty of the charges brought against them in cases involving crimes against humanity.
The two others are– former Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal, and former Inspector General of Police Abdullah Al-Mamun.
According to the verdict, Sheikh Hasina exercised “superior responsibility” by ordering the use of drones, helicopters, and lethal weapons during last year’s unrest.
The tribunal stated that the former home minister and the former police chief carried out those orders, implementing the directives issued by Sheikh Hasina regarding the deployment of deadly force.
