An agitated crowd reportedly set fire to Uttara residence of Nadim Hasan, younger brother of former MP Habib Hasan, on Monday evening.
Two fire service units brought the blaze under control shortly afterward.A private car on the premises was also seen burning during the incident.
Fire Service Control Room Duty Officer Rozina Akhter confirmed the incident, stating that two firefighting units were deployed to the scene and successfully brought the blaze under control.
