A parked bus of Victoria Paribahan was set on fire by unidentified miscreants in front of the Bangladesh Television (BTV) building gate in the capital’s Rampura area on Wednesday night.
The blaze broke out around 10pm . Two units of the Fire Service rushed to the scene after receiving the alert and immediately began efforts to bring the flames under control.
Fire Service control room duty officer Rakibul Hasan confirmed the incident, saying firefighters were working to extinguish the fire upon arrival.
No casualties were reported in the initial assessment, he added.
