Law Adviser Asif Nazrul on Thursday said that the law for holding a referendum on July Charter implementation will be passed within the next three-four days.
The referendum would be held on the same day as national elections in early February, Asif Nazrul said at a press conference held at Foreign Service Academy in the capital.
The referendum will be held in line with the announcement made by Chief Adviser Prof Muhammad Yunus.
In an address to the nation, Prof Yunus said the referendum will be held to secure public endorsement for the constitutional amendments that were proposed by the reform commissions.
Voters will have to cast a “Yes” or “No” on a single question. The question will have four distinct points.
