There is no new complication found in BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia’s body. She is still under close medical observation at Evercare Hospital in the capital.
BNP media cell member Shairul Kabir Khan confirmed the development to media on Tuesday afternoon. Before that, he, on behalf of the party, discussed the matter to Khaleda Zia’s personal physician Dr. AZM Zahid Hossain.
Alhamdulillah, the BNP chief is under close observation at a cabin of the hospital.
The physicians request that no one share any information without the statement of someone responsible, Shairul Kabir added.
Earlier on Monday, Professor Dr. FM Siddiqui, a member of the medical team, said Khaleda Zia developed a chest infection that has impacted both her heart and lungs, prompting urgent hospitalization.
