BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir and the party’s Standing Committee member Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury visited former Prime Minister and BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia at Evercare Hospital in Dhaka on Friday.

They arrived at the hospital around 4:30 PM, confirmed BNP Media Cell member Shayrul Kabir Khan.

Shayrul said BNP secretary general prayed for Khaleda Zia’s quick recovery, adding that she is currently receiving treatment in the hospital’s CCU under the supervision of a medical board.

He also urged the media not to publish any updates regarding her health without official confirmation from authorised personnel.
