Of these, 31 are murder cases, while the remaining 75 involve other criminal charges.

The 31 murder cases are connected to incidents staged in Pabna, Sirajganj, Bogura, Dhaka, Narayanganj, Cumilla, Chandpur, Feni, Kurigram and Sherpur districts.

Investigations for these cases were conducted by Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI), Rajshahi Metropolitan Police (RMP), Chattogram Metropolitan Police (CMP) and Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP).

The 75 other cases were filed under various sections of the Code of Criminal Procedure (CrPC) in Pabna, Sirajganj, Rajshahi, Chapainawabganj, Naogaon, Bogura, Dhaka, Narayanganj, Narsingdi, Tangail, Kurigram, Lalmonirhat, Sherpur, Jamalpur, Mymensingh and Barguna districts.

These CrPC cases had been investigated by PBI, Criminal Investigation Department (CID), Dhaka Metropolitan Police, Barishal Metropolitan Police (BMP), RMP, CMP, and Rangpur Metropolitan Police (RpMP).

Police officials said senior authorities have been closely supervising all investigations to ensure they are conducted thoroughly and properly.

Additionally, investigators have submitted interim reports recommending the discharge of 2,830 individuals under Section 173A of the CrPC in 437 anti-discrimination-related cases.
