No one faces security threat in Bangladesh: Home Adviser

Home Affairs Adviser Lieutenant General (Retd.) Md. Jahangir Alam Chowdhury has assured that there are no security threats or risks for anyone in the country.

He made the remarks in response to a question about the security of BNP’s acting chairman, Tarique Rahman, following his return to Bangladesh.

Speaking to reporters after a law-and-order core committee meeting at Secretariat, he said, “The government is fully prepared to ensure the safety of everyone. No one in the country faces any security threats and we are committed to protecting all citizens.”
