Masuduzzaman Masud, BNP’s nominated candidate for Narayanganj-5 constituency, has announced his withdrawal decision from the upcoming election contest, citing security concern.
At a press briefing on Tuesday at Narayanganj Press Club, he said that he took this decision considering the safety of him and his family.
”There is no pressure from the party on me. I myself took the decision for security purpose. Negative atmosphere is one of the reasons. Mainly my family is a matter.”
Masuduzzaman added that the decision to withdraw was made at the request of his family.
