Chattogram University (CU) Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Muhammad Yahya Akhtar expressed deep grief and condolences on the death of Shaheed Sharif Osman Hadi, a frontline fighter of the July Uprising and spokesperson of the ‘Inqilab Mancha’.

In a condolence message, the Vice-Chancellor prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul of Shaheed Sharif Osman Hadi and expressed his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family.

In a condolence message, it was said that the nation will forever remember Sharif Osman Hadi’s outstanding contribution and courage in the anti-fascist movement.

He was a strong voice in favor of truth and justice and against hegemony. The passing of a young revolutionary and popular leader like him has caused an irreparable loss in the political and democratic arena of the country. His courageous role and ever-strong voice against tyranny will continue to be an inspiration to the younger generation.
