BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahmanwill pay tribute and offer prayers at the grave of his father and the country’s former president Ziaur Rahman after the noon prayers today (Friday).
Other party leaders would accompany him, said a party statement. Tarique would recite the Surah Al-Fatiha and offer special prayers seeking the eternal peace for Ziaur Rahman, also the founder of BNP, at his mausoleum in Sher-e-Bangla Nagar in the capital.
After that, Tarique will also pay tribute at the National Memorial in Savar, honouring the martyrs of the 1971 Liberation War.
