The Junior Scholarship Examination for eighth-grade students scheduled for Wednesday (December 31) has been postponed due to declaration of public holiday by the government over the death of BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia.
The exam will be held on January 5, 2026.
The information was revealed on Wednesday in a letter signed by the Examination Controller of the Dhaka Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board, Professor SM Kamal Uddin Haider.
The Junior Scholarship Examination began across the country on December 28 where around 350,000 candidates participated.
