The Chief Adviser’s Office said on Tuesday night that authorities have completed all preparations for the janaza.
To ensure the smooth conduct of the prayers and maintain tight security, authorities have deployed 27 platoons of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) across Manik Mia Avenue and other key areas of Dhaka.
BGB Public Relations Officer Shariful Islam confirmed the deployment, saying the force has strengthened overall security around the janaza and burial programme.
He said BGB has stationed 27 platoons at strategic locations, including Evercare Hospital, the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban area and Zia Udyan, as part of a comprehensive security arrangement.
