Azizur Rahman, younger brother of Rafiqul Islam, president of Ward No-3 unit of Benapole Municipality BNP, passed away today (Friday). (Inna Lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un).

His namaz-e-janaza was held tonight at Benapole Ball Field after the Esha prayers.

Among those present at the janaza was Alhaj Nuruzzaman Liton, BNP-nominated candidate for the Jashore-85/1 constituency and general secretary of Sharsha Upazila BNP.

Others in attendance included Benapole Municipality BNP President Nazimuddin; Vice-President Atikuzzaman Soni; Joint General Secretary Mofizur Rahman Mofiz; Sharsha Upazila Krishak Dal President Amirul Islam; Benapole Ward BNP President Rafiqul Islam and General Secretary Abdul Mannan; Benapole Municipality Jubo Dal Member Secretary Raihanuzzaman Dipu; Joint Convener of Benapole Municipality Jubo Dal Mir Alam; Benapole Municipality Swechchhasebak Dal Member Secretary Omar Faruk; Sharsha Upazila Chhatra Dal Convener Shariful Islam Chayan; and Benapole Municipality Chhatra Dal Convener Arifur Rahman Arif, along with leaders and activists of BNP and its affiliated organisations.

The leaders prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and expressed deep condolences to the bereaved family.
