Dhaka University (DU) has published the results of the 2025–26 undergraduate (honours) admission test for the Business Studies unit, with nearly 90% of candidates failing to secure the minimum pass mark.
The university officially announced the results after 10pm on Sunday, the public relations office confirmed.
Candidates can check their results by logging into the DU admission website or by following the SMS instructions mentioned on their admit cards.
This year, a total of 34,062 candidates applied for admission to the Business Studies unit against 1,050 available seats, creating competition among an average of 32 candidates per seat.
However, only around 10% of the examinees were able to achieve the pass mark.
Based on the approved seat distribution, 930 seats have been allocated to students from the business studies background, 95 seats to science students and 25 seats to candidates from the humanities group.
The Business Studies unit admission test was held on 6 December at the Dhaka University campus, as well as at multiple centres across Dhaka city and four divisional cities simultaneously.
