Over 67, 000 teacher posts announced; applications open Saturday

The Non-Government Teachers’ Registration and Certification Authority (NTRCA) has issued a recruitment notice for 67,208 teachers and lecturers in MPO-listed non-government schools, colleges, madrasas and technical institutions.

Registered candidates can start submitting applications from Saturday (January 10), according to an announcement on the NTRCA website on Tuesday.

The notice allows candidates to apply until midnight of January 17 for positions across MPO-listed institutions, including 29,571 posts in schools and colleges, 36,804 posts in madrasas, and 833 posts in technical institutions. NTRCA has termed this the 7th Special Recruitment Notice 2026.

Applicants can submit their forms online at www.ntrca.gov.bd, where detailed vacancy lists and recruitment criteria are available. The application fee is set at 1,000 taka, payable via SMS until midnight of January 18. Each candidate can select up to seven preferred institutions, with the option to apply for other institutions if desired.

Eligibility criteria include holding a valid NTRCA registration certificate, which is valid for three years from the date of the registration exam result.

Candidates must be under 35 years of age as of June 4, 2025. Current MPO-listed teachers are not eligible to apply. Candidates are also required to complete a police verification form when submitting their applications.
