No manipulated polls this time, CEC reiterates

Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) AMM Nasir Uddin has reiterated that no manipulated election will be conducted in the country this time.
”There will be no stage-managed election, so no need for street agitation. InShaAllah, no orchestrated polls will ever be held in this country.”
The CEC made the remarks at the Election Commission on Thursday while responding to reporters’ questions after inspecting the appeal application booths.
”Those who applied, will be disposed on legal ground. The Election Commission believes in justice. All will get justice and a level playing field will be ensured.”
The commission would ensure level playing field for all candidates, CEC Nasir Uddin assured. ”We believe in transparency.”
Some 300 appeal petitions were filed against the decisions over the nomination papers in the first three days till Wednesday. The appeal petitions will be received till Friday (January 9).
