The US Embassy in Dhaka has welcomed Brent Christensen as the newly sworn-in Ambassador to Bangladesh.
In a statement, Brent expressed his enthusiasm about returning to Bangladesh, a country he said he knows well.
He noted that he looks forward to leading the team at the US Embassy in Dhaka, comprising both American and locally employed staff, to further strengthen bilateral relations between the United States and Bangladesh.
Brent also said he is committed to advancing President Donald Trump’s agenda and working toward making the United States safer, stronger, and more prosperous through close cooperation with Bangladesh
