BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir on Saturday said that truly an opportunity has created to build a liberal democratic state after many years.
“A critical time, our leader Tarique Rahman has returned to the country from abroad. The dream of building this country that he has shown to us has made the entire nation much more hopeful today.”
”Their expectation is that after many years, under the leadership of Tarique Rahman, we will be able to build Bangladesh as a liberal democratic state.”
Fakhrul made the remarks in his address of welcome at the view exchange event between BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman and editors and senior journalists at the Grand Ballroom of Hotel Sheraton in the city’s Banani.
The event began at 11:20AM with the recitation from the Holy Quran by Maulana Abul Kalam Azad. Prior to this, BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman exchanged pleasantries with the journalists present.
