A doa mahfil (special prayer gathering) was held at Goga Union in Sharsha upazila of Jashore, seeking eternal peace for the departed soul of BNP Chairperson, former Prime Minister, and uncompromising national leader Begum Khaleda Zia, widely regarded as a symbol of national unity.
The prayer programme was attended as the chief guest by Alhaj Nuruzzaman Liton, BNP-nominated parliamentary candidate for Jashore-85/1 constituency.
Organised by the Ichhapur Village Committee of Goga Union, the doa mahfil was joined by leaders and activists of the BNP and its affiliated organisations.
