BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman has said that if his party get the opportunity to form the next government, a separate department under the Ministry of Liberation War Affairs will be set up for the July warriors.
While addressing a views-exchange meeting with the families of the July mass uprising victims, Tarique Rahman said, ”Different section will be introduced under the Ministry of Liberation War Affairs to ensure facilities and proper care for the families of July martyrs and the fighters InShaAllah, if BNP get the opportunity with the support of the people.”
”We will try to mitigate the pain of the July fighters,martyrs.”
Previously, when BNP was in power, a ministry called the Ministry of Liberation War Affairs was created. This ministry are looking after the martyrs of 1971. We decided that Bangladesh Jatiyatabadi Dal will look after the 2024 July victims with the support of the people of the country.
The BNP Chairman said the proposed new division would specifically be responsible for looking after the July martyrs’ families and fighters.
