A two-member ICT-2, led by Justice Md Manzurul Basid, passed this order on Tuesday.
Begum Rokeya University in Rangpur (BRUR) Vice-Chancellor Hasibur Rashid among 30 have been accused in this case.
The prosecution says that through the examining of 25 witnesses testimonies, they have presented sufficient information and evidence to prove the case. The state has demanded the maximum punishment for the accused.

They are former proctor Shariful Islam, assistant registrar Rafiul Hasan Russel, staff member Md Anwar Pervej, ASI Amir Hossain, constable Sujan Chandra Roy and former Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) BRUR unit general secretary Imran Chowdhury Akash.
The tribunal framed charges against all 30 accused on August 6, 2025. Earlier, on June 30, the ICT-2 issued arrest warrants against 26 fugitives, including the former BRUR vice-chancellor.
According to the prosecution, on July 16, 2024, shortly before Abu Sayeed’s death, the then proctor allegedly forced students off the campus with the help of Chhatra League activists, after which two policemen reportedly fired at Sayeed at close range.
