Detectives of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) have arrested three people, including the main shooter, in connection with the murder of Swechchhasebak Dal leader Azizur Rahman Musabbir.
The arrests were made during overnight operations in Manikganj and Gazipur, according to officials from the Detective Branch (DB) of the DMP.
A senior DB official confirmed the development, saying the prime shooter, identified as Jinat and a suspected planner named Billal were among those detained.

The third arrestee is believed to be an associate of the two.
Musabbir, 45, a former general secretary of Swechchhasebak Dal’s Dhaka North unit, was shot dead on December 7 around 8:30PM.
