Indian visa services to resume soon

The Assistant High Commissioner of the Assistant High Commission of India in Sylhet, Aniruddha Das, has said that all categories of Indian visa processing will soon return to normal.
”Currently, medical and double-entry visas are being issued and initiatives have been taken to resume travel visas and other categories as well.”
On Thursday, the Indian assistant high commissioner also assured maximum cooperation to strengthen bilateral ties through visa facilitation.
Speaking at a view exchange meeting, Aniruddha Das said that the relationship between Bangladesh and India has been built on mutual respect and understanding. The two countries share a long-standing connection in terms of ideas, values and cultural heritage.

”We want to work together. India-Bangladesh relations will grow stronger based on people-to-people ties.”

Highlighting the role of journalists, the Assistant High Commissioner said that objective reporting and constructive criticism can help further strengthen bilateral relations between Bangladesh and India.
He noted that responsible journalism plays an important role in fostering mutual understanding and deepening ties between the two neighboring countries.
